Terms of Service
The agreement between you and AmazVid — what you can generate, who owns it, how credits are consumed, and where our responsibility ends.
Last updated: July 28, 2026
Who you are contracting with
AmazVid is operated by AmazVid, [Registered address — replace before launch]. These terms form a binding agreement between you and us. By creating an account or generating a shot, you accept them.
AmazVid is a business tool. If you are signing up on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind that company.
What the service does
You paste a marketplace product link. We retrieve the public listing photos, you choose one as the reference frame, and we render short silent video shots of that product using third-party generative models. You can submit one product at a time, or up to 5 products in a single batch.
Output is generated by AI. It is probabilistic, not deterministic. We work hard to keep the product identical to your reference photo, but we do not warrant that every frame of every shot will be a faithful representation. Review each shot before you publish it — you are responsible for what appears on your listing.
Your content and the rights you need
You keep ownership of the product photos and other material you submit. By submitting them you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process and transmit them to our sub-processors for the sole purpose of producing your shots.
You must have the right to use every photo you submit. Pasting a competitor's listing URL and rendering shots from their photography is not something this licence covers, and it is not something we can grant you. You warrant that you own or are licensed to use the source material, and you indemnify us against claims arising from material you had no right to submit.
Who owns the output
Subject to your account being in good standing, you own the shots we render for you and may use them commercially — marketplace listings, ads, social, anywhere. We claim no royalty.
Two caveats. First, Free plan output carries an AmazVid watermark and may not be used in paid advertising with that watermark removed. Second, AI output is not always eligible for copyright protection in every jurisdiction; we cannot promise you an enforceable copyright in a generated video.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use AmazVid to:
- Generate shots from photos you do not have the right to use.
- Misrepresent a product — for example rendering a shot that shows features, contents, scale or condition the actual item does not have.
- Create content that is illegal, deceptive, hateful, or sexually explicit.
- Depict identifiable people without their consent.
- Circumvent credit metering or rate limits, resell raw API access, or scrape the service.
- Submit malware, or attempt to gain access to another account's data.
We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches this section. Where the breach is honest and fixable, we will tell you first.
Credits and how they are consumed
One credit renders one 5-second shot. A 10-second shot takes twice the compute and costs 2 credits. A batch consumes credits for every product-and-angle combination you submit, and those credits are deducted when the batch is accepted, not when it finishes.
If a render fails on our side, the credit is returned automatically. You are not charged for our errors. Credits spent on a shot you simply did not like are not returned — generation cost is incurred either way.
Monthly credits reset at the start of each billing period and do not roll over. Pay-as-you-go credits you bought outright do not expire while your account is open.
Billing, renewal and cancellation
Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, through Waffo Pancake, our Merchant of Record — they are the legal seller of each purchase and handle global tax collection. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from Billing; cancellation stops the next charge and you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.
Prices exclude VAT and sales tax where applicable; Waffo Pancake calculates and collects these at checkout based on your location. If we change prices, existing subscribers get at least 30 days' notice and the change applies from their next renewal.
New paid subscriptions carry a 14-day money-back guarantee — see the refund policy for the details and the exceptions.
Availability
We aim for high availability but do not offer an SLA on self-serve plans. Rendering depends on third-party model providers; when they degrade, our queue slows down or fails. We will refund credits for failed jobs, which is the extent of our obligation for downtime.
We may change, suspend or discontinue features. If we discontinue something you depend on, we will give you notice and a way to export your media.
Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Our total liability to you in any 12-month period is capped at the amount you paid us in that period. We are not liable for lost profits, lost sales, marketplace account suspension, or consequential damages arising from your use of generated content.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.
Termination
You may close your account at any time from Settings. We may terminate for material breach of these terms, non-payment, or if required by law. On termination we stop billing you and delete your media according to the retention schedule in the privacy policy. Download anything you want to keep first.
Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction — replace before launch], without regard to conflict of law rules.
We may update these terms. Material changes are emailed to account holders at least 14 days before taking effect; continuing to use the service after that date means you accept them. If you do not, cancel and we will refund the unused portion of your current period.
